Chevron Shawlette Experiment 1

My first chevron shawl experiment, was completed in 2011. I created a shawl that had the chevron shape, but the ends were too stringy. The center bulk had been substantially reduced. The shawlette's shape actually works well when worn.
The shawl was started by casting on 7 using the long tailed cast on.
Row 1- K1 YO K1 YO K1 M1 K1 YO K1 YO K1;
Row 2- K1 YO K1 YO K1 P* K1 YO K1 YO K1;
Row 3- K1 YO K1 YO K1 K* M1 K1 M1 K* Y1 YO K1 YO K1;
Row 4- K1 YO K1 YO K1 P* K1 YO K1 YO K1;
Repeat rows 3 & 4 4 times total.
Row 11- repeat row 3;
